North Dalmatia - Region Zadar (Croatia) extends from island Pag on north to town Drage on the south. North Dalmatia has been inhabitated since antiquity and has many historic monuments and antique settlements. North Dalmatia includes two regions, Zadar and Sibenik's region. Zadar and Sibenik's regions include about 500 most beautiful islands in Croatia such as Pag, Ugljan, Silba, Vir, Murter, Pasman, Krapanj, Iz, Zlarin, Molat, nacional park Kornati, nature park Telascica on Long island.
There are three national parks in that area: NP Kornati, NP Krka, NP Paklenica. NP Kornati includes 140 islands and cliffs. It has well-indented coast, clear sea... NP of river Krka includes many lakes, waterfalls and rapids. Two most beautiful waterfalls are Rosk and Skradin falls. NP Paklenica includes two canyons, Large and Small Paklenica.
There are two parks of nature in North Dalmatia too. Those are Telascica (bay deep 8 km) and Lake Vransko (largest lake in Croatia). North Dalmatia offers large capacity of accommodation. There are many luxury hotels, apartments, private accommodation, rooms, camps...
